Self
Established under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the NSS unit at National College provides students with an opportunity to develop their personality through community service. Our volunteers work on health, hygiene, environment, and social awareness projects.
NSS volunteers earn certificates and preference points in government service exams. More importantly, they graduate with a deep sense of civic duty, empathy, and leadership skills that benefit their personal and professional lives.

Environmental Conservation
Tree plantation drives, waste management workshops, and eco-awareness campaigns across nearby communities and college surroundings.
Blood Donation Camps
Regular blood donation drives organized in collaboration with hospitals and the Red Cross society to support emergency medical needs.
Health Awareness Drives
Free health check-up camps, hygiene awareness sessions, and first-aid training for rural and urban community members.
Literacy & Education
Teaching programs in government schools, adult literacy initiatives, and distribution of educational materials to underprivileged students.

Seven-day residential special camps in adopted villages, National Integration camps, and participation in national-level NSS events.

Our NSS unit has adopted nearby villages where volunteers conduct regular awareness drives, health camps, cleanliness programs, and educational workshops benefiting hundreds of families.
State & National Recognition
Our volunteers have received accolades at state-level Republic Day parades and national NSS festivals for outstanding community service and creative programming.
